Our Story

At Viridian, our mission is to help people live the lives they choose – but we understand that for many people, that’s not possible. Launched in 2018, the Viridian Foundation helps staff, clients and the wider community make a difference in moments that matter.

We believe that it’s essential to help whoever we can right now, but critical to ensuring that we can continue to provide support into the future. Through the Foundation, we can leverage a public ancillary fund structure to ensure that we create an impact for those that need it most and that will stand the test of time.

We asked our staff to nominate the five social causes that are most important to the Viridian community. The Foundation gives back and financially supports community initiatives and organisations aligned to our most important social causes.
Our five social causes include mental health, health & medical research, homelessness, the environment and family & domestic violence. In addition to these, we support disaster relief, and are the leading pro-bono advice based volunteering firm with the Cancer Council.

Our Board

Our Foundation is governed by six Executive and Non-Exectutive Directors and endorsed by our patron, Viridian Financial Group Joint CEO Glenn Calder.
